The Restore Yoga Session
A nourishing 2-hour afternoon of slow flow, yin yoga, meditation, yoga nidra and warming chai.
📅 Monday 5 October 2026 (public holiday)
🕓 2:00pm – 4:00pm
📍 Southside Uniting Church, 58 Kadumba St, Yeronga
💛 Investment: $55 (includes a two-hour Restore Yoga Session and warming chai)
You’re invited to step away from the busyness of life and gift yourself two hours of gentle movement, deep rest and nervous system nourishment.
The Restore Yoga Session is an extended practice designed to help you slow down, release tension and reconnect with yourself. We’ll begin with a slow, mindful flow to awaken the body before settling into longer-held yin yoga shapes, guided meditation and a deeply rest Yoga Nidra practice.
The afternoon concludes with a warming cup of chai and the opportunity to linger, connect and ease gently back into your day.
Whether you’re feeling physically tight, mentally busy or simply in need or a quiet pause, this session offers space to breathe, soften and restore.
No experience needed — all bodies and levels are warmly welcome.
Led by senior yoga practitioner and teacher, Julia Starkey (read more about Julia’s background and teaching style).

“Thank you Julia. It was such a revitilising day, I was completely blown away with how well I felt afterwards. You have such a wonderful talent, thank you so much for sharing with us. I look forward to the next retreat.”
“Your retreat was blissful and you captured it perfectly by saying it was a time out to nourish the mind, body and soul. I so didn’t want to leave. A lot of that is down to you as the facilitator and our guide. You have such a beautiful energy Julia and you make it a wonderfully safe and supported space. ”
