What is yoga nidra?

Yoga nidra (or “yogic sleep”) is a form of yoga where you lay down (or rest in any comfortable position) and are taken on a guided journey of mental imagery. It’s a powerful way to access a state of deep relaxation.

What to Expect

  • Grounding and gentle movement—enjoy 15 minutes of light seated movement to prepare your mind and body for savasana.

  • Relaxing yoga nidra— while resting in savasana, enjoy a 45-minute experience where you’ll be guided though the various stages of yoga nidra, including relaxation, intention setting, body scanning, breath work and visualisation.

  • Calming space— switch off and relax deeply with soft music, candle light and lavender eye pillows.

[Julia’s] Yoga nidra was taught following a tradition I was accustomed to, which created a profound effect on my psyche.
